The Florida Villa

In addition to our lovely upstate New York home, we have a beautiful Florida Villa for rent from June through Ocotber. The Villa is located at 101 Parkside Colony Drive, in the historic town of Tarpon Springs. Sunset Beach and Fred Howard County parks are less than a mile away, both with beautiful beaches.

This is part of a complex of 24 villas, with villas clustered into groups of 4. Attractive live oaks with Spanish moss shade the drive and much of the area. This home is all on ground level, with the parking area just outside of a walled courtyard entrance.

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a recently updated kitchen opening to the dining area and living area. One of the bedrooms is furnished as an office with 2 desks. The other 2 are furnished with queen-size beds (Tempurpedic mattresses). Two large French doors open from the living area to the lanai.

A large French door also opens from the master bedroom to the lanai. Beyond the lanai is a large deck and then a small garden area with grass and a pond. The back yard is very private.

The entire home was redone about 5 years ago. It has large tile floors throughout with oriental carpets in many places. All of the kitchen and bathroom countertops are granite. The 40 Samsung LCD TV (1080i) has a home theater system and a high definition Tivo-type recorder. A 17” Macintosh computer with a copy-scan-fax machine will stay in the office. High speed cable connection and wireless is included.

The kitchen is well-equipped (Pat is a chef). Two bicycles can be used. Vermont Castings outdoor gas grill.
